Signing up and signing in

Create your account, confirm your email with a 6-digit code, answer a few setup questions, and sign in with your email and password.

  1. Choose Start free on this website, or go straight to the sign-up page.
  2. Enter your email and choose a password. Use at least 8 characters, and avoid common passwords or anything close to your name or email.
  3. Press Sign up.

Confirm your email with a code

We email you a 6-digit code to check the address is yours. Type it in under Code from the email and press Continue.

  • The code works for 15 minutes.
  • Can’t see it? Check your Junk or Spam folder.
  • No luck after a minute? Press Send a new code.
  • Typed the wrong address? Choose Change it and enter the right one.

You only need a code once, to confirm your email. After that you sign in with your password.

Answer a few setup questions

Next, a few short steps set your account up. Each shows “Step 1 of …”, and you can use Back and Continue to move between them. You can finish or change any of this later.

  1. About you: your name and pronouns.
  2. Which best describes you? Choose I’m training to be a counsellor or I’m a qualified counsellor. If you’re qualified and also on a course, choose qualified.

If you’re a student, you then add your course, its hours requirements, your placement, your supervisor and your personal counsellor. If you’re qualified, you set your working week and practice details, choose your plan and, for card payments, connect Stripe.

When you finish, a short tour shows you around.

  1. Go to the sign-in page and enter your email and password.
  2. Tick Remember me if it’s your own device.
  3. Press Sign in.

Forgotten your password? Use the link on the sign-in page to reset it.

If you’ve turned on two-step sign-in, you’ll then be asked for the 6-digit code from your authenticator app. Lost your phone? Type your recovery code into the same box instead. See Settings for how two-step sign-in works.

Never share a sign-in code or your recovery code with anyone, including us.
